Whew \u00a0That was some serious stinkerwhiff. Michigan State didn\u2019t just lose to \u2018Bama, it got obliterated<\/a>. \u00a0And not surprising. \u00a0Most of its wins for the year were last second wins just squeaking by. \u00a0The trouncing it got was, of course, supposed to be what Ohio State got last year. \u00a0But in one of the strangest and most inspiring seasonal stories I\u2019ve ever witnessed, OSU managed the win; even if it spent half of the second half pinned down behind the Alabama five yard line. <\/p>\n

But last night was just a miserable performance by a team that shouldn\u2019t have been there. \u00a0After all, take it\u2019s victory against OSU this year. \u00a0Having lost our Offensive Coordinator, it\u2019s clear he played a major part in our fortunes last year. \u00a0The season has bee a disappointment at best, and it\u2019s unlikely we would have fared much better against the Tide. \u00a0But Michigan State beat us during one of the worst games I\u2019ve ever seen. \u00a0A game so bad that the play calling was the main story, and that is seldom the case. \u00a0It was games like that Michigan barely won. \u00a0And even if Alabama is overrated, IMHO, you still don\u2019t go against a smarting, hungry team like that when you have so little to show. <\/p>\n

Anyway, it\u2019s Alabama and Clemson. \u00a0We\u2019ll see. \u00a0I don\u2019t have much skin in that game. \u00a0I\u2019ll be watching the NFL Draft Bowl today at 1:00. \u00a0Perhaps the Bucks can redeem a somewhat uninspiring, and lackluster season against the Irish. <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
