I couldn\u2019t have said it better myself.<\/a>\u00a0Except to say that who controls the institutions of communication plays a big role. \u00a0So when the majority of Americans opposed gay marriage, gays and gay marriage advocates were popularly and officially portrayed as the courageous crusaders of truth and justice. \u00a0Now that the majority of Americans support gay marriage, those who oppose it are portrayed as the bigots and hate mongers who will get what they have coming. \u00a0So the role of propaganda can\u2019t be downplayed. \u00a0Otherwise, excellent article.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
