Yep, expect more of it. We\u2019ve already learned that, in the name of Gay Tolerance (or Welcoming and Affirming), small business owners will be crushed with heavy fines<\/a> meant to destroy their livelihoods unless they conform. \u00a0Now it\u2019s to the prisons<\/a>, much to the delight of gay onlookers. \u00a0I say the last part because in the news clips of her standing her ground against the plaintiffs (that is, the two homosexuals wanting to get \u201cmarried\u201d), \u00a0one of the gentlemen \u00a0proudly proclaimed that she should be \u201ctaken away in handcuffs!\u201d \u00a0Again, in the name of tolerance and diversity.<\/p>\n

I know. \u00a0She is a government employee. \u00a0It\u2019s part of the job for better or worse. \u00a0Maybe it could have been handled differently. \u00a0Maybe the governor could have stepped in and found a compromise. \u00a0I also know that Ms. Davis is a flawed human being with failings in her own past. \u00a0Or so the media told me in the effort to discredit her. \u00a0After all, the leftist definition of hypocrisy is anyone taking a non-liberal stand that has failed. \u00a0Better to have no morals and avoid the charge of hypocrisy.<\/p>\n

Which shows why those who once proclaimed a brotherhood of man<\/strike>\u00a0persons where all will live in harmony and tolerance and diversity and respect for differing opinions can now use the power of the government to smash any who fail to grovel before the might of their dogmatic moral proclamations.
No doubt there will be Christians who will line up and spew contempt on Ms. Davis, saying she\u2019s doing it all wrong, she is a bad witness, she isn\u2019t handling this in the proper, Christian way. \u00a0But please. \u00a0Can someone tell me if there is anyone left so stupid as to think there is any hope in compromising with this new secular modernity juggernaut? \u00a0Does anyone now think, when viewing the above picture, that the post-Christian Left is the slightest bit interested in \u201clive and let live\u201d? \u00a0Or compromising if Christians will just meet them halfway? Tell me there is no example of such irredeemable idiocy still left in the world. <\/p>\n

BTW, FWIW, I think this is not looking as good as many in the media would like. \u00a0I\u2019ve heard several media outlets pulling their collars and suggesting that maybe there could have been some compromise. \u00a0I didn\u2019t really hear that with the bakers. \u00a0Why? \u00a0My guess \u2013 and my guess only \u2013 is that there is still hope that common sense and values are not dead in America. \u00a0And seeing a picture of a couple of bakers with things and stuff and things doesn\u2019t really resonate. \u00a0But seeing a woman thrown in jail, in a mugshot, all because of her Christian beliefs, may just rouse that sleeping giant. \u00a0They could be wrong. \u00a0But just in case, I think this is an image the press would rather avoid. <\/p>\n
