I know, knee jerk in an age of censorship. \u00a0Our immediate first response today is ban and censor<\/a>. \u00a0I get it, too. \u00a0I think there is a legitimate debate about actually having the flag of the losing side of a war flying in government locations. \u00a0After all, there weren\u2019t too many Union Jacks flying in the states following the Revolution. \u00a0Plus, I get the problem descendants of slaves dragged here from Africa would have with seeing that flying over their state houses \u00a0(see Obama post below regarding who owns what government buildings<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, today a rush to ban and censor is becoming the preferred goto solution for almost anything. \u00a0There just isn\u2019t anything I think that enlightened and educated Americans wouldn\u2019t rush to ban and censor today. And if the Confederate Flag today, what\u2019s not to say something else tomorrow. \u00a0 Not that the cross would ever be spoken of in that manner<\/a>. \u00a0Nonetheless, I\u2019m getting a little nervous about the growing acceptance our brilliant generation has toward silencing dissenting views and legally eradicating the ability to not bow down to the Left. \u00a0Especially under the auspices of \u2018I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll only ban real hatred, not anything I happen to believe!\u2019 <\/p>\n
