Another interesting article.<\/a> \u00a0Those who take the Talk Radio approach to the issue probably do a disservice to the topic. \u00a0Again, torture is what the bad guys did in my view. \u00a0And so far, I haven\u2019t been convinced that waterboarding doesn\u2019t fall into the category of torture. \u00a0Like I\u2019ve said, if we had an old war movie where Japanese or Germans were waterboarding an American serviceman, I seriously doubt we would have said, \u201cWhew, thank goodness. \u00a0At least they weren\u2019t torturing him!\u2019 \u00a0But it is a complex issue, especially in light of the Islamic terrorists\u2019 willingness to throw all rules of war out the window and fight completely outside of any acceptable laws or standards, for a completely new set of objectives, and with an entirely new approach to warfare. \u00a0And since it\u2019s our generation, that has little connection to anything beyond our own hand picked demographics, it\u2019s been easy to criticize while proudly declaring no particular solution to any of the problems.<\/p>\nSo I\u2019m open to the debate. \u00a0Those who do anything short of \u2018I\u2019d torture babies for the American way!\u2019, or those who invoke \u2018Evil America anyway!\u2019. \u00a0Oh, and that goes for those who feel fine about breaking Jesus\u2019 commandments about judging and accusing and Raca and Fool to prove a point. \u00a0Read it. \u00a0It\u2019s worth the time.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
