A little Chaucer talk for our Christmas dinner this year, <\/span>courtesy of Chaucer Doth Tweet<\/a>. \u00a0We tried, for the first time, a Medieval meat pie, and let me tell you one thing \u2013 because it ain\u2019t two things \u2013 that was a\u00a0scrumptious\u00a0dinner. \u00a0We supplemented it with plenty of\u00a0Victorian era side dishes, but replaced the Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding with the meat pie. \u00a0And that was a smashing success. \u00a0Here\u2019s a pic from the finished product. \u00a0It was not light! \u00a0But it was very, very good.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
