Of course it is because the jobs are temp and part time jobs, or just people giving up and driving down the unemployment rate. \u00a0Wages are stagnant while cost of living continues to rise. \u00a0We were just informed that we\u2019ll likely not have a raise, but our insurance premiums are going up next year. \u00a0That\u2019s a net loss, that\u2019s losing money, having your income go down for the same work. <\/p>\n

People working jobs that, 20 years ago, would have allowed a little savings and an occasional trip to Disney, can\u2019t pay the bills or pay for food or basics. \u00a0That\u2019s why people are upset. \u00a0And if a conservative Republican was in office, you can damn well bet the media would be all over that. \u00a0Just the fact that most of the economic boon of the last five years has gone to the top 5% would have been a rallying cry. \u00a0I remember that in college in the 80s. \u00a0But now? \u00a0Silence. <\/p>\n

Does it bother Americans that we don\u2019t have a media interested in conveying information. \u00a0It\u2019s about indoctrinating and brainwashing us into conforming to a single world view. <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
