For now, it comforts me to see that John C. Wright is on the same wavelength<\/a> I\u2019m on when it comes to our bowing before the greatest boon to Islamic Evangelicalism<\/a> in history.\u00a0 If I may, in the utmost humility, disagree with Mr. Wright however.\u00a0 The reason that Islam is protected and Christians aren\u2019t is because of the revolutionary nature of liberalism.<\/p>\n

If there\u2019s one thing the age of Enlightenment revolutions taught us, it\u2019s that in order to have a revolution you must completely war against everything you are revolting against. Liberalism, like the alien that pops out of John Hurt\u2019s chest, is a parasite on the very civilization it seeks to destroy.\u00a0 And its main method is to constantly focus on the evils of the Christian West, while downplaying the bad of\u00a0any other civilizations.\u00a0 A great \u2018grass is greener\u2019 approach you might say.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why the Twin Towers had barely fallen when the overwhelming response by Westerners was \u2018That was the most horrible thing I\u2019ve ever seen!\u00a0 What could we have done to make them hate us<\/em><\/strong> so much?\u2019 (Emphasis mine).\u00a0 It\u2019s our fault.\u00a0 It\u2019s always our fault. The history of America is one of genocide, slavery, racism, bigotry, sexism.\u00a0 The history of Europe is the same.\u00a0 And of course the legacy of Christianity is no better. <\/p>\n

These things must be attacked to convince people to throw them out with the baby and bathwater and replace them with the promises of the Secular Left.\u00a0 And so Islam, by virtue of not being part of the heritage that needs destroyed, gets a\u00a0pass.\u00a0 Oh sure, there is some condemnation where things get really nasty.\u00a0 But it always \u2013 and I mean always \u2013 comes back to the evils of the Dying West.\u00a0 Which is why it\u2019s dying.<\/p>\n

So Mr. Wright gets it right in noticing the trend \u2013 almost.\u00a0 He just seems to avoid or miss the overall reason.\u00a0 The West must go.\u00a0 And the only way this happens is if we convince ourselves that it alone is the cause of the world\u2019s sufferings, and therefore it alone must be destroyed. <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
