I\u2019ve been watching the basic upswing in my readership and I\u2019m pleased. \u00a0Thanks all for visiting. \u00a0I hope in some goofy way, I make it worthwhile. \u00a0And yet, I\u2019ve never given much thought to it beyond sitting down between reruns of MASH and jotting down a thought here and there, with automatic spell check being my only editor. \u00a0Most things are right off the top of my head, through the fingers, and \u2018publish.\u2019 \u00a0Likewise, I just wander in and out, blogging here, letting it go there. \u00a0Going days without caring. \u00a0Well, one thing I have enjoyed is seeing more people comment. \u00a0One soul has brought oodles of insights and help, but I\u2019ve seen a couple others as well. \u00a0All I can say is, more! \u00a0The comments, emails, links, those help me keep a grip on what I\u2019m saying. \u00a0It also helps motivate me to blog more carefully, and start working more on quality. <\/p>\n

To that end, I\u2019ll try to be more regular in my posting. \u00a0At least one or two posts a day \u2013 even if I still count frivolous things that only\u00a0interest\u00a0me. Blogs gushing over my awesome family are as good as always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

But, because of that, I will take at least one day off and not blog at all, unless some emergency arises. \u00a0Just like my ministry days, I always took Fridays off. \u00a0Most ministers I knew took Mondays, though I could never figure out why. \u00a0I took Fridays. \u00a0Saturdays were half-days, since we often had events or meetings, and I always spent the evening finishing up for Sunday. \u00a0But Thursdays were almost always slow evenings, and that allowed me most Thursday evenings with the family, plus Fridays (barring emergencies with the congregation), and then usually at least a late start on Saturday. <\/p>\n

Same here. \u00a0I\u2019ll pass on Sunday posts, and then try to keep things coming regularly through the week. \u00a0Saturdays\u00a0being a hit and miss as always. \u00a0In return, thanks for the patience, and please feel free to link me out there however it\u2019s done. \u00a0I know\u00a0virtually\u00a0nothing about blogging, and originally did this because \u00a0I was told to by some folks who knew me, and thought it was a nice way of getting my thoughts down. I was actually told to write a book, but that was by people who heard me lecture rather than read anything I committed to paper. \u00a0So I\u2019ve treated this as sort of a public diary. \u00a0So that\u2019s that. \u00a0I\u2019ll be back Monday. \u00a0Have a nice and blessed Sunday. \u00a0Hope to see everyone back. \u00a0And Go Bucks!<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
