Despite the initial reports that harmony and an aligning of the planets was now likely\u00a0because\u00a0boy scouts would let homosexuals openly serve, there might be some problems. \u00a0And from both sides<\/a>! \u00a0The Left, the Pro-Homosexual side, is still not happy, as all progressives tend to be when only 99% fealty is given to the progressive cause. \u00a0Apparently a willingness to screw traditional values and abase itself before the progressive juggernaut was not enough. \u00a0So gay rights groups are demanding more, more, more.\u00a0<\/div>\n
On the flip side, it shouldn\u2019t be\u00a0surprising\u00a0that not all scouts of a more traditional inclination are happy about the entire choice, and I\u2019ve read some saying they\u2019ll pull their boys from the Scouts altogether. \u00a0Others with younger sons have said nix-nix to putting them into the Scouts. \u00a0The irony here being that I\u2019d wager the pennies left in my savings accounts that the vast majority of homosexuals don\u2019t give a rip about being scouts. Just like the vast majority of homosexuals and those who support homosexuality aren\u2019t given toward traditional\u00a0religious\u00a0values. \u00a0<\/div>\n
Why? Because the way one must see the world in order to embrace homosexual normality is in flat opposition to the traditional Judeo-Christian world view. \u00a0It is based on the pillars of modern secular\u00a0progressivism\u00a0that religion is at best a bunch of made up fairy tales that ancient humans spun out of thin air to explain why the sun goes down at night. Furthermore, those ancient humans are but glorified animals, evolved from lower forms, a mere step on the way to biological\u00a0extinction\u00a0or evolution into some other form of life. \u00a0These things, try as some traditions might to reconcile them, are ultimately irreconcilable. \u00a0And so each time a tradition has thrown out the old time religion and embraced the gay, predictions of a\u00a0tidal wave\u00a0of happy gays and gay supporters swelling their pews are made. \u00a0And every. Single. Time.They are proven wrong.\u00a0<\/div>\n
There are no doubt homosexuals within various\u00a0religions\u00a0 \u00a0But alas, they make up a minority. \u00a0Changing religion to\u00a0accommodate\u00a0the latest, hippest and appeal to a small percentage will make no difference at all. \u00a0And if most mainline Protestant denominations are to be learned from, it will most likely hurt. \u00a0Something \u00a0the Scouts had best ponder a long, long time.<\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
