<\/a><\/div>\nWell, in most houses Mom and Dad may be anxious for school to start again, but I have to say, we love our time spent with our boys. \u00a0As they get older, and that inevitable moment comes when the\u00a0hatchlings\u00a0must sprout wings and fly from the nest comes closer, we take the moments we have and cherish them. \u00a0I wish like nothing else that the last years would have been more stable, and that some of the plans we had once hoped for and thought about had come true. \u00a0But it was not to be. \u00a0We\u2019ve filled the lost opportunities with what enjoyment and care we could, and the boys have shown tremendous patience. \u00a0To that end, we always feel a bit\u00a0melancholy\u00a0when it is time to wrap up another Christmas break. \u00a0Despite the fear and stress of not knowing how we\u2019ll make it, we tried to look at the bright side \u2013 we were able to spend the longest Christmas Break our boys have ever had together as a family. <\/p>\n
Bad weather and sickness and limited funds cut into what we might have done, but\u00a0doggone it, we plowed through, and ended up with some good\u00a0memories\u00a0despite it all. \u00a0Can\u2019t say that being stuck for days in the house while old man winter ravaged the\u00a0neighborhood\u00a0didn\u2019t lead to a few tense moments. \u00a0Seven people in a house built for three to four? \u00a0It will happen. \u00a0But it didn\u2019t happen much, and the good far outweighed the few bumps in the road. \u00a0We owe much of that to our awesome sons. \u00a0I sometimes don\u2019t think I\u2019m really aware of just how blessed I am to have four boys as wonderful, good-natured, fun, and full of potential as they are. \u00a0If I have nothing else for the rest of my life, they would make everything I\u2019ve ever endured more than worthwhile. \u00a0And the enjoyment we\u2019ve had, the feasting and games courtesy of some\u00a0generous\u00a0family members and friends in the Faith, all came together and made this a great Christmas to remember.<\/p>\n
