Of the level of contempt and hatred\u00a0emanating\u00a0from the American Left. \u00a0Robert Bork died yesterday. \u00a0That\u2019s right, died. \u00a0In her piece on MSNBC<\/a>, Maddow chose to remind everyone that a country without Bork as Supreme Court Justice is a blessed country indeed, that he was\u00a0truly\u00a0deserving of Kennedy\u2019s prediction of \u00a0lynching blacks and murdering women, and that the\u00a0admiration\u00a0from\u00a0heinous\u00a0conservatives\u00a0should \u00a0be more than enough proof of just how\u00a0twisted\u00a0and vile this man was. \u00a0On the day he died. \u00a0Of course, her take on his legacy was that it was a good thing Reagan was soundly defeated in this Supreme Court nomination. \u00a0My take, and many who don\u2019t conform to Leftist dogmas, was that his nomination was when the Left emerged to declare their motto of \u2018be liberal or be evil\u2019. \u00a0At that point, they proudly declared that it was their hour, and the qualifiers for public office, nominations to key positions, or in recent years, the ability to exercise\u00a0fundamental\u00a0rights, would \u00a0be sifted through the filter of Liberal Dogma. \u00a0I\u2019m not saying I was a fan of Bork one way or another, or suggesting he should have been a justice or not. \u00a0I\u2019m saying that no matter what I think of someone, if for no other reason than respect for the family who may have had no say in the matter, I\u2019ll keep my yap shut. \u00a0Maddow displays the more proper post-modern Leftist value system: contempt,\u00a0hatred\u00a0and intolerance of all who fail to the Left\u2019s dogmatic definitions of diversity.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
