It looks like a couple college students are facing potential criminal prosecution for lacing a batch of\u00a0brownies\u00a0with cannabis <\/a>(that\u2019s pot to you and me). \u00a0I remember, back in the day of the 1970s and 1980s\u00a0Utopian\u00a0vision of a liberal society, such pranks were the domain of really cool kids who knew how worthless the whole button-down\u00a0hypocrisy\u00a0really was. \u00a0This is the stuff that Boon and Otter could pull off that would have audiences rolling in the aisles, and inspiring a boat load of\u00a0imitators\u00a0 \u00a0Truth be told, I heard dozens of such stories when I was in high school and college of kids drugging other kids for fun. Perhaps they were\u00a0exaggerations.\u00a0 \u00a0Kids will do that sometimes. \u00a0Maybe \u00a0they didn\u2019t even happen. \u00a0But it certainly was the stuff we thought that being in a post-hypocrisy nation was all about. \u00a0Just like slipping the microphone under Frank and Hot Lips\u2019 cot. \u00a0Funny how all those things that kids\u00a0were\u00a0told would be just sooooooooo cool will now get you arrested and charged to the fullest extent of the law<\/a>, by\u00a0the\u00a0very forces that once promised us such a rousing and laugh-filled future.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
