Probably not. Why do I think that? \u00a0Because he\u2019s still performing for the President at the annual \u201cChristmas in Washin<\/span>gton\u201d, and the President is going to attend, that\u2019s why. \u00a0As it is, he only rapped some lyrics back in 2004 along the lines of \u2018<\/span>\u00a0\u201cKill those f****ng Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives. Kill those f****ng Yankees who ordered them to torture. Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers. Kill them all slowly and painfull<\/i>y.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Nothing worth getting our underwear in a knot over. \u00a0<\/span>He even apologized<\/a>. \u00a0Sort of:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile I\u2019m grateful for the freedom to express one\u2019s self, I\u2019ve learned there are limits to what language is appropriate and I\u2019m deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted,\u201d the rapper said in a statement.\u00a0<\/span>I will forever be sorry for any pain I have caused by those words.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now maybe it\u2019s me, but I\u2019m not sure how one can interpret lyrics that call for the death of US soldiers (this is reaction to Iraqis who tortured a Korean missionary, for some reason turned into our soldiers doing the deed), and further calls for the murder of women and their daughters. \u00a0But eh, again, it isn\u2019t like he said there was something wrong with gay marriage or something<\/a>. If that were the case, I have this gut feeling he would already have been pulled from the performance, and if not, there would be massive walk outs and\u00a0<\/span>cancellations<\/span>\u00a0in protest. \u00a0Welcome to the new era or new priorities<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>
