\n| An apt tribute from Google<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n The man who could calm the Middle East with his quiet demeanor would have been 70 today. \u00a0I know, some in the snob court of the art world look down their noses, but who cares? \u00a0When did anyone who lauds a toilet seat suspended from a wall of corn cobs ever speak for what really moves the average person? \u00a0Ross knew that art should be for everyone, not just the elite. \u00a0He also knew that everyone likes to create, it\u2019s in our blood. \u00a0God creates. \u00a0God is the source of creation. \u00a0Being made in God\u2019s image, we just can\u2019t help but want to make something. \u00a0And so Mr. Ross took the easel from the Champagne and caviar world of self-congratulatory snobbery, and gave it to us, the little people.
