Tries to destroy whatever good will he may have won<\/a>\u00a0from his victory in the first presidential debate. \u00a0When the conservative movement has been torn\u00a0asunder\u00a0over whether or not to continue supporting the GOP after decades of failed promises and limp\u00a0wristed\u00a0support for social issues, Mitt Romney steps forth and assures them that he has no intention of caring about their concerns if he is elected president.<\/p>\n

I realize that\u00a0technically\u00a0he merely is saying that he won\u2019t propose any pro-life legislation aimed at reducing or preventing abortions. \u00a0According to his spokeswoman, he would apparently consider at least something regarding\u00a0congressional\u00a0initiatives, but that\u2019s purely speculation on my part. \u00a0All I know is that Romney has suggested to ~~moderates<\/strike>\u00a0Americans that he has no intention of doing anything with abortion one way or\u00a0another\u00a0if he is elected. <\/p>\n~~

Add that to the win column for those Catholics insisting that voting for the GOP is no different, or better, than voting for the Democrats. \u00a0Goodness knows, I\u2019m beginning to think they\u2019re correct.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
