I do wonder why the entire nation is captivated by this one case.\u00a0 No, let me rephrase this.\u00a0 I know exactly why, because the media is.\u00a0 And why is the media captivated by it?\u00a0 That\u2019s simple enough.\u00a0 Because initially it was about some neighborhood watch fellow with permission to carry a gun STOP!\u00a0 This is a great opportunity to exploit in order to ramrod our opposition\u00a0to concealed handgun laws!\u00a0 Hie to the scene!!<\/p>\n

Yes, it\u2019s always said to see the life of a young man cut short.\u00a0 It\u2019s damn embarrassing to watch his death be exploited.\u00a0 But exploited it shall be.\u00a0 Even now, as we begin to learn more details that paint the initial reports in a little less \u2018white handgun owner kills innocent black man\u2019 narrative, it takes on a life of its own.\u00a0 Naturally a little thing like pesky details and facts wont\u2019 derail the juggernaut.\u00a0 Just like the Duke Lacrosse case, in which a cadre of Lacrosse players was falsely accused of raping a black woman should have demonstrated.\u00a0 Even as\u00a0it became painfully obvious that the Duke case was crumbling, the media continued to push its dream narrative, bringing out scholar after expert to assure us that all whiteskin men were genetic Nazis who just can\u2019t resist lynching blacks and raping black women. <\/p>\n

And so for this, I doubt we\u2019ll get to the bottom of it any time soon.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think facts or details have any bearing on what people want at this point.\u00a0 But what stunned me was our illustrious leader\u2019s foray into the maelstrom<\/a>.\u00a0 He could have offered sympathy.\u00a0 He could have called for restraint in judgement.\u00a0 Heck, he could have kept his mouth shut since he doesn\u2019t seem to get particularly involved in the daily murders in Columbus, Ohio.\u00a0 But no, what does he say?\u00a0 He says that Trayvon Martin would like like a son of Obama\u2019s if Obama had a son.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Just what the hell is that supposed to mean?\u00a0 Let me rephrase that as well.\u00a0 What the hell does<\/em> that mean?\u00a0\u00a0 Because I\u2019m sure there aren\u2019t too many people stupid enough to miss exactly what that is supposed to mean, and what that statement\u00a0is supposed to evoke.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
