My favorite headline was on Yahoo news.\u00a0 It read \u2018Despite setbacks, Obama\u00a0claims stronger hand in global dealings.\u2019\u00a0 That\u2019s akin to saying \u2018But for having fewer points, we\u00a0won the game.\u2019 \u00a0All of this being an attempt to put a positive spin on Obama\u2019s whirlwind Asian tour<\/a>.\u00a0 As far as I can tell, while talking with India he more or less accepted the post-American position that it\u2019s good America is no longer the lone super economy in the world.\u00a0 Then he went to China and was smacked around for a while.\u00a0 After that he went to S. Korea to salvage a quickly sinking trade deal.\u00a0 And then went to the G-20 summit and asked other countries to help protect us from bullies like China.\u00a0 Wow.\u00a0 Proud to be an American after that.\u00a0 I don\u2019t fault President Obama entirely.\u00a0 His progressive attitudes lead him to believe that if America learns its place, the rest of the world will simply right itself and bring equality to the planet.\u00a0 But much of the wreck he is dealing with was handed to him, and from more than just the previous eight years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
