Speaking of Halloween movies, some years ago Simcha Fisher wrote a piece about movies she and her family watched around Halloween. \u00a0Inspired by that, I presented\u00a0my own humble offering<\/a>. \u00a0We\u2019ve added to the list since then, most recently the Academy Award winning 1932 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde<\/em>, starring Frederic March. \u00a0 My oldest wanted that for his birthday, and with the miracle of digital downloads, we were able to deliver and enjoy it last night to cap off the birthday celebrations. \u00a0 Over all, the list is still pretty accurate, and through the season, we\u2019ll usually watch most of them. \u00a0Just a little frivolity to lighten the scary election.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
