It\u2019s true, the Church is split. \u00a0Just like the rest of the Faith. \u00a0In a nutshell, it has to do with revelation or inspiration. \u00a0Many on the Left, including Catholics, tend to accept that the Scriptures, the teachings, and the Church itself are man made. \u00a0Inspired in the sense of a brilliant idea or a beautiful piece of music perhaps, but still from the mind of man.<\/p>\n

Traditionally, the Faith taught that these things were from God. \u00a0To some degree or another, they were revealed by God. \u00a0The Incarnation wasn\u2019t a literary device used by a clever first century author. \u00a0It happened. \u00a0Moses wasn\u2019t the figment of some ancient desert nomad\u2019s imagination. \u00a0Moses happened.<\/p>\n

Just who wins out in the battle for the mind of the Faith remains to be seen. \u00a0But that it is a split down Church lines is difficult to deny.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
