It\u2019s midterm time here at Griffey academy. \u00a0That means I\u2019ll be busy for a few days grading exams and midterm reports and, of course, seeing how quickly my bracket collapses.<\/p>\n
Plus it\u2019s St. Patrick\u2019s day weekend! \u00a0St. Patrick is our youngest\u2019s middle name\u00a0and saint; and our third son picked him as his patron saint when we became Catholic. \u00a0 Along with St. Francis, St. Patrick loomed large in my appreciation for historic Catholicism.<\/p>\n
Since part of my family comes from County Sligo, and we have multiple strains of Irish in our blood (plus some Welsh, Scottish, and in an awesome twist, American Indian), we\u2019re planning quite the celebration this weekend. \u00a0It starts with Scotch Eggs for weekend breakfast and goes down from there.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll be back to posting next week, after everything is done and obligatory hours spent at the gym burning off the calories. \u00a0I\u2019ll try to keep up with comments as I can.<\/p>\n
