according to Samuel Gregg at The Federalist<\/a>, is that populism is good when Pope Francis does it, bad when others do it. \u00a0Who those others are is anyone\u2019s guess, but there are theories floating about.<\/p>\nThis is a bit like Pope Francis being the pope who asks who he is to judge. \u00a0Apparently he\u2019s Pope Francis, and he does a splendid job judging things and people. \u00a0Sometimes he can out-judge a fundamentalist KJV-only tent preaching Baptist evangelist. \u00a0He just doesn\u2019t judge certain things.<\/p>\n
So seems\u00a0to be at least a couple cases where Pope Francis says X is thus or Y is bad, only to act in ways that must make you wonder.<\/p>\n
