<\/iframe><\/p>\nLest we get careless, the most important person we need to improve is the person we see in the mirror every morning. \u00a0That\u2019s usually enough to keep most people busy.<\/p>\nWorse still is when we become so sure we have it down, that we become unteachable. \u00a0That\u2019s what had happened here. \u00a0People who\u00a0knew so much, they weren\u2019t prepared to listen. \u00a0Note that this approach was not common for Jesus. \u00a0This is not how he typically addressed people.<\/p>\nHe certainly didn\u2019t address prostitutes, tax collectors and other sinful types that way. \u00a0He addressed the religious elites that way.<\/p>\nSo a word of caution as we continue through Holy Week. \u00a0As tempting as it is to wonder why all those other people are out there screwing up the world, it might be prudent to start with ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Lest we get careless, the most important person we need to improve is the person we see in the mirror every morning. \u00a0That\u2019s usually enough to keep most people busy.
