Ouch.<\/p>\nI\u2019m one of those people who hates to see a team get nothing.\u00a0 Last year when OSU decimated Wisconsin, I\u00a0felt bad that the Badgers didn\u2019t\u00a0at least\u00a0get\u00a0a field goal.\u00a0 So seeing this, I can\u2019t help but feel a little sorry for him.\u00a0 But also a little frustrated with our ministry of Propaganda.\u00a0 Martin O\u2019Malley bowed out because of low numbers.\u00a0 With\u00a0 only two competitors on the Democratic side, he couldn\u2019t beat 1%.<\/p>\n
And I fault the media, who today is busy going around and asking what does this mean for Trump, how will Trump respond, what does Trump do, can Bernie topple Hillary or can she pull it through, but who will go against Trump, will Trump win, how will Trump move forward, what about Trump\u2019s speech, and so on and so on and Scooby Dooby Do.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Is the media the only reason Trump has the numbers he has?\u00a0 No.\u00a0 I\u2019d be a fool to suggest that.\u00a0 But I\u2019d be no less of a fool to suggest that the historically unprecedented coverage that the media has given Trump hasn\u2019t played some part.\u00a0 The media wants Trump in there mixing it up. For the same reason the media is jockeying between Hillary and Sanders.\u00a0 It much preferred Biden, and before Uncle Joe ducked out, you barely knew who Sanders was.\u00a0 But knowing the damaged goods that Hillary brings to the table, the media needs someone to turn to \u2013 just in case. <\/p>\n
So instead of pausing, they jumped on the Bernie bandwagon and forgot O\u2019Malley even existed.\u00a0 The first interview of O\u2019Malley that I saw, I saw going into the town hall meeting right before Iowa.\u00a0 And Gilmore?\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure the media was aware he existed.\u00a0 With a million candidates chewing up time in the GOP, I can say part of it was Gilmore\u2019s responsibility to be noticed.\u00a0 But as an instrument of information that is supposed to supply us with all that we need to make informed choices, you\u2019d think somewhere along the line the media would have pointed out that he was alive. <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
