And tells us not to worry<\/a> about the emerging China.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure I don\u2019t worry.\u00a0 Not in the sense of \u2018crawling into a corner and covering my eyes\u2019 worry.\u00a0 But I\u2019m one who doesn\u2019t believe that notions of equality, liberty, freedom and the sanctity of life came out of the Dying West by accident.\u00a0 I therefore can\u2019t help but wonder what the world will look like when the West no longer dominates, but another culture does.\u00a0 Will that culture have adopted the best of what the West offered in time?\u00a0 Do we in the West even remember the positives that Western Civilization brought to the historical table?\u00a0 I\u2019m not worried in the worst respect, since whatever happens will likely occur long after I, or even my children and their children, have passed from this earthly life into the hereafter.\u00a0 But in the broader sense of history\u2019s general trajectory, yeah, I am a little concerned.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
