Open marriages! \u00a0GetReligion looks at the NYT Magazine\u2019s tackling of this minor<\/a>, but growing<\/a>, movement.<\/p>\n

With all due respect\u00a0to Ms. Duin, there\u2019s little to suggest that in future years the call will not be for anyone and everyone to have sex with anyone or everyone else, minors included. \u00a0I could be wrong of course. \u00a0After all, as recently as a decade or so\u00a0ago, I believed Bill Nye when he said chromosomes determine gender. So there you go.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on the other side, Anthony Esolen provides a counter cultural perspective to the developments bringing us the \u2018someday sex with everyone\u2019 movement. \u00a0Out of the Ashes<\/em><\/a>, while unlikely to change the momentum, nonetheless looks like an interesting reminder that there are people out there who disagree with where things are, and where they are going.<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t read it yet, so I won\u2019t comment on its quality. \u00a0William Briggs has<\/a>, and seems to approve.<\/p>\n
