I\u2019m sad, and a little guilty.\u00a0 Abe Vigoda has died<\/a>. The poor man became famous in our house as the fellow who was always thought to be dead.\u00a0 Apparently we weren\u2019t alone.\u00a0 He even made a minor comeback a few years ago in a Super Bowl commercial (the same one that re-jumped the career of Betty White), that caused a new wave of \u2018I didn\u2019t know he was still alive!\u2019.\u00a0 Of course he is most known as the ill fated Tessio from the monumental film The Godfather<\/em>, and as Fish from the 70s TV show Barney Miller<\/em>.\u00a0 But the ongoing joke that he was already dead had almost surpassed the Paul is Dead rumors of the late 60s.\u00a0 So it\u2019s with a little shame and much sorrow that I must say goodbye Mr. Vigoda.\u00a0 I hope you were a good sport about it all.\u00a0 It seems you lived a good, long life.\u00a0 Peace be with you and yours, and God\u2019s blessings for the joy you brought to my generation.\u00a0 Even if it wasn\u2019t always intentional.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
