Prayer is an important part of our Lenten obligations.\u00a0 If you find it difficult to pray, you might simply imagine God speaking to you. \u00a0His words might sound something like this:<\/p>\n
You don\u2019t have to be clever to please Me; all you have to do is want to love Me.\u00a0 Just speak to Me as you would to anyone of whom you are very fond.\u00a0 Are there people you want to pray for?\u00a0 Tell Me their names, and ask as much as you like.\u00a0 Trust Me to do what I know best.<\/em><\/p>\n Is there anything you want for your soul?\u00a0 Tell Me if you feel guilty about anything.\u00a0 I will forgive you, but you have to accept My forgiveness.<\/em><\/p>\n Tell Me about your self-centeredness, and your laziness.\u00a0 I love you in spite of your faults.\u00a0 Do not hesitate to ask Me for blessings for mind and body.\u00a0 I can give everything you need for a happier, holier life.\u00a0 Are you afraid of anything?\u00a0 Trust yourself to Me.\u00a0 I am here.
