<\/a>I just finished a new block print, this is the first printing of it. Of course there\u2019s a bit of something stuck to it so there\u2019s a blob in the middle. I designed it to be printed in dark ink on a light background, but the only ink pad I had was white, so light on dark it became. Still, I like my little dusting beetle with her bucket of suds. I\u2019ve come up with another one in my domestic insects theme. I want an ant who carries a huge laundry basket. I\u2019m thinking there will need to be some smaller ants involved.<\/p>\n\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/wp.production.patheos.com\/blogs\/dandelionlady\/files\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_tjLA0xEvPDU\/S7nlv_jjqhI\/AAAAAAAAAik\/z6LPIkSYqgo\/s400\/IMG_2131.jpg\")
<\/a>I also wanted to share what I made my husband for his birthday. A Pirates versus Ninjas apron! It\u2019s reversible, so no matter if he feels like giving his allegiance to cutthroat thieves of the east or the west, he\u2019s all ready to go. The pirate side has his pistol stowed in a pocket for easy retrieval and the ninja side has his sword ready to draw. (Can you tell I had fun making this?) So shiver me timbers and away we go!
