<\/a>\"\"<\/a>I love that shot. What a view! I wonder what they were looking at when their behinds were immortalized in a photo. A parade maybe? The postcard is from an exhibit on the beginnings of photography in England, so maybe they were looking at a young Queen Victoria? Whatever it was, it was surely something grand. They did grand in those days. We don\u2019t really do grand anymore. Spectacular, yup. Glittering and gorgeous, sure. Grand, not so much. Oh well, that\u2019s what old postcards are for!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The back of this one indicates that it was a reprint of the original photo in the early 1970s to a family in Ann Arbor. They\u2019re talking about books and lists, so maybe someone was a scholar or a professor, since it was bound for the hometown of UofM. I love the questions. It\u2019s so much fun to make up stories to go with them!<\/div>\n

Here\u2019s some more of my postcards. I\u2019m close to finishing them up, which is good, they need to be sent out very soon. I was having fun with homemade stamps with these, and I like how the textures are building. I can\u2019t wait to send them off to travel the world!\n
