Bowen:<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> <em>In Alma 43:44\u201345, as part of the narration of the war between Amalekite- (Amlicite-) and Zoramite-led Lamanites and the Nephites, Mormon juxtaposes the cause of the Amlicite\/Amalekite-motivated \u201cfighting for monarchy\u201d with the Nephites\u2019 \u201cbetter cause\u201d of fighting for wives, children, and religious freedom. \u2014 and is a former president of the Rome Italy Temple.<\/p>\n<p>Also there was the BYU economics professor who, since 1989 [!], has been the person in Provo responsible (not only to the BYU administration, but directly to the First Presidency) for the Jerusalem Center. \u00a0 Likewise, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Matthew_Tueller\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Matt Tueller<\/a> was there. \u00a0My wife and I first met him and his wife when we were all members of the small Cairo LDS branch and he and I were students in the intensive program of the Center for Arabic Studies Abroad. \u00a0His wife and mine had their first babies within a month of each other there in Egypt, and we all went through that experience pretty much together. \u00a0 Until his still relatively-recent retirement, Matt had a distinguished career with the State Department. \u00a0In his culminating roles, he served as the Ambassador of the United States to Yemen, and then to Kuwait, and finally to Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>Collectively, my wife accurately observed afterward, the people at these two meals have played really important roles at important times in our lives, and they continue to be among our best friends and favorite people. \u00a0Friendships are one of the greatest blessings of this mortal life, and the testimony of the Restored Gospel is that they will continue to be so in the world to come:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p id=\"p1\" class=\"verse\" data-aid=\"128362734\">When the Savior shall appear we shall see him as he is. Trump bring\u00a0home <em>all<\/em> of them, or only <em>most<\/em> of them?
