In response to my earlier post on the topic<\/a>, my colleague Eric Huntsman<\/a>\u00a0has directed me to\u00a0some pictures that he\u2019s posted of the probable steps where Pilate would have presented Jesus to the crowds (which are somewhat south of the citadel, since the barracks would not have been in the palace proper).\u00a0 You need to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>scroll down a bit to the section that begins with a picture of \u201cThe Builders of Jerusalem Garden,\u201d and particularly to the second, on \u201cThe Hidden Gate.\u201d \u00a0He also provides\u00a0a link to Shimon Gibson\u2019s book, which outlines all the arguments:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
