\u201cHow can such a thing possibly exist?\u201d some scientistic dogmatists will ask. \u00a0\u201cReligious faith and scientific reason are completely incompatible!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cClearly,\u201d such folks will say, \u201cthese people haven\u2019t really thought about the relationship between the two. \u00a0It\u2019s just a matter of compartmentalization. \u00a0They\u2019re rational in their work, but completely irrational in their silly religious lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
But the idea that the people in the Society of Ordained Scientists haven\u2019t ever thought about the interface between faith and reason, between religion and science, \u00a0is risible, and plainly false.<\/p>\n
