Israel\u2019s economy<\/a>, which is advanced, sophisticated, varied, and booming, is so poor that starvation is a major threat to the nation\u2019s people. \u00a0And because of its deliberately tear-jerking, manipulative style.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
There are many places around the world where masses of people really are hungry and really do face starvation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Israel isn\u2019t one of those places.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
And it\u2019s supported by the notably affluent international Jewish community, which gives large sums in philanthropic donations, and by U.S. foreign aid (of which it is the top recipient).<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The population of Israel isn\u2019t starving. \u00a0Not by a long shot.<\/p>\n
