Make a list of all of the countries that support gay rights including marriage. Make a list of all of the countries that do not support gay rights and marriage. Correlate that list with a host of quality of life indicators. I would bet that countries that support gay rights and marriage have a far higher quality of life than countries that do not support gay rights and marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Of course, those countries had high\u00a0\u201cquality of life\u201d ratings before they endorsed gay marriage. \u00a0So it seems possible that the benefits of gay marriage are so powerful that they actually overflow back into the past.<\/p>\n
But I want to think about this a bit more. \u00a0After all . . .<\/p>\n
Correlation is such a fun tool!<\/p>\n
Make a list of all the countries that speak Germanic languages. \u00a0Now make a list of all the countries that speak Romance languages. \u00a0Compare their average per capita incomes.<\/p>\n
Does this demonstrate Aryan superiority?<\/p>\n
Make a list of all Scandinavian countries. \u00a0Now make a list of the twenty countries with the lowest proportions\u00a0of Scandinavian citizens.<\/p>\n
Clear evidence, it would seem, that Scandinavian people lower temperatures.<\/p>\n
Marry a Norwegian girl, reduce your air conditioning costs!<\/p>\n
Have you ever noticed, by the way, that rivers overwhelmingly tend to flow under bridges, rather than around, over, or behind them? \u00a0Clearly, if you build a bridge, they will come. \u00a0It\u2019s a very effective way of managing an area\u2019s water.<\/p>\n
