What is it that he wants me to do? \u00a0Am I squandering my time and my gifts? \u00a0Am I using them as they should be used? \u00a0As he intended me to use them?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When I was very young, I broke my arm trying a bicycle trick. \u00a0When I was a teenager, I broke my arm attempting a motorcycle trick. \u00a0I wasn\u2019t really near death, but it occurred to me that I could have been \u2014 and that those on the other side might not have been particularly happy to see me. \u00a0\u201cYou weren\u2019t supposed to be here for another sixty-seven years.\u201d \u00a0\u201cYou threw your life away doing <em>what?<\/em>\u201d \u201cDid you really imagine, you idiot,\u00a0that <em>that\u2019s<\/em> what you were sent there to do?<em>\u201c<\/em>) \u00a0It struck me that perhaps I should try to be a bit more responsible.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 Luke 19:11-27 Compare Matthew 25:14-30;
