Caesarotrumpism remains on the ascendent, and the forces of limited-government constitutionalism are very much on the defensive, bruised and battered.<\/p>\n

And yet it\u2019s not quite time to give up hope yet.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The anti-Trump forces are energized now, and the reality of Trump and Trumpism are beginning to be apparent to the majority of Republicans who still oppose this attempt to seize the party of Lincoln and Reagan. \u00a0The estimable classicist and historian Victor Davis Hanson lays out a strategy for thwarting it:<\/p>\n
