Many support Mr. Donald Trump for the presidency because of his alleged business acumen. \u00a0Personally, I see no conclusive\u00a0that he\u2019s a very good businessman<\/a>, although he\u2019s certainly played one on television. \u00a0(Bill Cosby played an obstetrician on TV, but \u2014 although like Mr. Trump he\u2019s exceptionally interested in women \u2014 he\u2019s not actually a doctor.)<\/p>\n

Anyway, here\u2019s a piece from the Economist<\/em> \u2014 one of the finest magazines in the English-speaking world \u2014 that describes some of Mr. Trump\u2019s business activities in a way that goes directly to his character:<\/p>\n

It is said that Mr. Trump and his employees are planning an assault on the character of Bill and Hillary Clinton that will be absolutely fierce.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t doubt it. \u00a0And there\u2019s plenty of material there for an attack. \u00a0The Clintons appear to be both cynical and quite corrupt.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s plenty such material on the Trump side, too. \u00a0Indeed, there\u2019s an\u00a0overflowing, inexhaustible abundance of it.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brace yourselves for what could easily be the most savage (and non-substantive) presidential contest of modern times.<\/p>\n

America, friends, has brought this upon itself. \u00a0We have nobody else to blame.<\/p>\n
