Today\u2019s reading, Alma 31<\/a>, introduces us to the (in)famous Rameumptom, the elevated platform from which the apostate Zoramites would offer up their complacently self-righteous weekly prayer.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m struck, too, by the fact that, in 31:35, Alma remarks of the Zoramites that \u201cmany of them are our brethren\u201d \u2014 which suggests that at least some of them are not<\/em>. \u00a0That seems to me pretty clearly to imply the existence of \u201cothers\u201d in the land.<\/p>\n
