This curious sculpture by the Swedish sculptor Carl Milles (d. 1955), entitled \u201cGod Our Father on the Rainbow,\u201d was originally done for the United Nations building in New York City, but it was rejected as too overtly Christian. So now it stands over the water near Stockholm. Which one could be pardoned for regarding as somewhat ironic.

Quite a number of years ago, I gave a lecture about today\u2019s reading, Alma 32<\/a>, entitled \u201cExperiment Upon My Word.\u201d<\/p>\n

So far as I recall, I\u2019ve never published the lecture \u2014 beyond the transcript of it that can be found through the link here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, since my ultimate goal is to die without ever having had an unpublished thought, perhaps I should dust this transcript off and do something with it.\u00a0 Candidly, I haven\u2019t thought about it much for a very long time.\u00a0 But, glancing at it just now, I think it still has some value.<\/p>\n
