her obituary<\/a> has publicly appeared, I\u2019m free to pay tribute to our good friend Linda Hunter Adams, who passed away on Sunday after a battle with cancer that ebbed and flowed over a number of years.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
She\u00a0was a member of\u00a0a weekly study group to which my wife also belongs, as well as of a monthly reading group with which both my wife and I have been involved for many years. \u00a0She had me speak several times at the stake \u201cEducation Weekend\u201d that she organized. \u00a0Most recently, she was serving as an editorial consultant for the Interpreter Foundation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
She was a bright, kind, committed, perceptive, good-humored friend, and we already miss her.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I\u2019m pleased that she was able to spend the last portion of her earthly sojourn\u00a0in the\u00a0mountain cabin near Brighton that she so loved.<\/p>\n
