We drove through Las Vegas today. \u00a0Although, having lived for much of my life in both Utah and California and having family in both places, I once drove through Las Vegas\u00a0a very great deal, it\u2019s been several years since I\u2019ve done that. \u00a0I\u2019ve flown into and out of the city several times in the meanwhile, but you see the city differently when you approach it by car from the north.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Judging by\u00a0the billboards along I-15, I conclude that most of the residents of Las Vegas are injury lawyers who continually sue\u00a0each other and everybody else over accidents that occur while city residents are commuting\u00a0between adult video stores.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
We took a quick detour while passing through\u00a0the San Bernardino area to see the Redlands California Temple. \u00a0Very beautiful grounds. \u00a0I liked the spirit there considerably more than\u00a0the one portrayed in those Vegas billboards<\/p>\n
