One of the many reasons why, despite my disgust at\u00a0Mr. Donald Trump, I\u2019ll never, ever, vote for Hillary Clinton:<\/p>\n

It would be especially nice if that Republican had at least some sympathy for religion and religious believers. \u00a0Consider Mr. Donald Trump\u2019s real attitude toward Mormons<\/a>, as hinted at in this article:<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes Donald Trump have a Utah problem? Yes \u2014 and he says that it\u2019s \u2018tremendous'\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Which is why it\u2019s understandable that, as this New York Times<\/em> article observes,<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMormons\u2019 Distaste for Donald Trump Puts Utah Up for Grabs\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

But he\u2019s managed to garner considerable support<\/a> from Evangelical Protestants \u2014 more than Mitt Romney did<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

And that, I suspect, is at least partly because, while Governor Romney isn\u2019t a real Christian, Mr. Trump is a Presbyterian!<\/em><\/p>\n
