Just another reminder that, at 7 PM on Wednesday, 12 April 2017, in the \u201cEducation in Zion\u201d auditorium (B-192 JFSB on the BYU campus), Professor Royal Skousen will discuss\u00a0the differences between the first and second editions of his multi-book Analysis of Textual Variants<\/em> (ATV). \u00a0He\u00a0will also\u00a0talk about the whole work itself \u2014 namely, what ATV\u00a0means for the text of the Book of Mormon, how textual criticism of the Book of Mormon should be pursued, and\u00a0how scholarly textual criticism should be done in general.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a very real sense, the event will be a celebration of the definitive scholarly analysis of the Book of Mormon text (now all organized properly and updated after eight\u00a0years).<\/p>\n
