A friend tells me that he\u2019s heard that Church leadership\u00a0in Edmonton, Alberta, is permitting local Muslims to use a stake center there \u2014 specifically, its Relief Society room \u2014 during the four weeks\u00a0of the holy month of Ramadan for late night (10 PM) meals\/celebrations to\u00a0break the month-long daily fast. \u00a0It seems that the Muslims had no adequate place to meet. \u00a0Other churches were approached for help on the matter, but declined. \u00a0The local leaders thought it appropriate, though, because (they said) Muslims are our brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Is there anybody out there in the Edmonton area who can confirm whether this is true or not? \u00a0If it is, I\u2019m quite pleased by it. \u00a0Proud of it, in fact.<\/p>\n
