Last night, we attended a session in the still relatively new Indianapolis Indiana Temple with the local friends who are hosting us here. \u00a0(He<\/a> is one of the temple recorders.)<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I have to say that the temple is\u00a0more beautiful than photos of it had led me to expect. \u00a0And the interior is very, very lovely.<\/p>\n

I hope that the estimable Ed Gantt<\/a>\u00a0won\u2019t mind my quoting a very good point\u00a0that he made\u00a0the other day in an entry on Facebook:<\/p>\n

I was just remembering the hullabaloo that broke out some months ago when Vice President Mike Pence stated that he didn\u2019t go to dinner alone with any woman but his wife. I recall how many on the Left (and even some on the Right) derided and mocked his personal policy, claiming that it was condescending to women, old-fashioned, and moderately sexist. I wonder now, however, if those who criticized Pence for his \u201cVictorian morality\u201d knew their daughter was going to start a new job would rather she worked for Harvey Weinstein or Mike Pence\u2026<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
