\u201cWe can\u2019t have full knowledge all at once. We must start by believing; then afterwards we may be led on to master the evidence for ourselves.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTo one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHuman salvation demands the divine disclosure of truths surpassing reason.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, for those who might perhaps care to attend (or to avoid attending), I\u2019ll be speaking this year at BYU\u2019s Education Week, on the topic of \u201cPivotal Figures in Religion and Politics in Early Christianity.\u201d \u00a0This wasn\u2019t the subject that I had initially proposed, but, rather, is the subject that the Education Week leadership asked me to address.<\/p>\n
