I don\u2019t know exactly how we can do it \u2014 we\u2019re not at liberty to jettison revealed doctrines, covenants, and commandments to do it \u2014 but I would love to have people who have felt excluded feel included, to the extent that that is possible.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019ve commented here before,\u00a0I\u2019m something of a quasi-universalist. \u00a0(A topic for another day, that. \u00a0And maybe not on my blog. \u00a0We\u2019ll see. \u00a0To me, it\u2019s a sacred and sensitive subject.)<\/p>\n

But it seems to me that deliberate wickedness is what gets people into the Terrestrial Kingdom and the Telestial Kingdom. \u00a0Those who sincerely seek to do right and to find and live by the truth will, I think, be fine in the long run. \u00a0And those, in my still rather sunny view of humanity, are a pretty big group. \u00a0Homosexuality poses a unique challenge, I acknowledge, and one that I\u2019m unspeakably glad that I have not personally been obliged to confront \u2014 but also one that is not beyond the reach of the love of the Father and the atoning sacrifice of the Son.<\/p>\n
