He\u2019ll be definitively proven wrong, of course. \u00a0Probably sometime in the latter half of 2020. \u00a0But I hereby predict that the completion of the project will have absolutely no impact on him, that he won\u2019t apologize or issue a retraction or change his behavior.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, I think it important, from time to time, to make certain things very clear. \u00a0And now is as good a time as any.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
As far as profiting from the film goes, nothing in our financial plan involves paying me a single dime. \u00a0I won\u2019t profit from this project. \u00a0I won\u2019t receive a single cent. \u00a0Nothing.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
For that matter, while the by-laws of the Interpreter Foundation permit me and a few other senior Foundation leaders to be paid a maximum of $500 per year for our labors on its behalf, none of us has ever drawn a single nickel. \u00a0In fact, my wife and I are donors to the Foundation, and have been during every year of its existence.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Barring some unforeseen disaster, the Witnesses<\/em> film project will be completed. \u00a0The people with whom I\u2019m working are experienced filmmakers, and they know how to bring movie efforts to completion. \u00a0We\u2019re committed to this endeavor.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
We thank everybody who has contributed toward seeing it through. \u00a0I believe that this project is needed<\/em>. \u00a0Without generous donations, though, we would be unable to finish what we\u2019ve started. \u00a0But it will be finished. \u00a0And we hope and believe that it will do a great deal of good.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
