By filming at Upper Canada Village in Ontario, among other places, our production crew was able to take eventual viewers of the Interpreter Foundation\u2019s \u201cWitnesses\u201d project back very nearly two hundred years. A week or two ago, I signed a contract to speak at BYU Education Week in August of this year. \u00a0At this point, of course, I don\u2019t know whether there will be<\/em> a physical Education Week on the BYU campus. \u00a0I\u2019ve been told that those in charge are still moving cautiously forward with plans for a gathering in Provo and, so far as I\u2019m aware, that\u2019s still the case. \u00a0Let us hope. \u00a0If it\u2019s ultimately decided not to have people come to campus, then I would guess \u2014 though I have no privileged knowledge on this score \u2014 that Education Week might well go virtual. \u00a0Obviously, though, it could still be cancelled altogether. \u00a0Plenty of things have<\/em> been.<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

First Lecture<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 The Three Witnesses<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nThis class will discuss not only the specific experience of the Three Witnesses but their biographies thereafter and their lifelong characters and reputations.\u00a0 Furthermore, it will discuss why they left the Church and whether or not they returned to it, and it will emphasize the consistency of their testimonies thereafter, sometimes under trying circumstances.\u00a0 Many members of the Church are unaware of the details of their stories.<\/span><\/p>\n\n- I will show a 3-5-minute clip from the Witnesses<\/em> film project, forthcoming in October.<\/span><\/li>\n
